Intimate Partner Violence Healing
Commonly referred to as domestic violence, we use the term intimate partner violence (“IPV”) because people in dating and intimate partner situations are not necessarily living together, due to their age or many other circumstances. Intimate Partner Violence encompasses verbal, emotional, financial, spiritual, physical, sexual, or technological behavior that one intimate partner uses to harm, threaten, demean, or establish power and control over another intimate partner.
Domestic Violence Statistics contains data, guest articles and real stories about the pervasiveness of domestic violence in our society.
Lori Rose’s 2017 TEDx talk describes how IPV can happen to anyone, discusses earliest warning signs, and gives tools for healing to all types of survivors.

Caring friends contact us often asking how to best support their loved ones. It’s important to arm yourself with facts and understanding about trauma as well as sexual and intimate partner violence.
